About Us

Gwalior Polypipes Ltd. is a name well-known for providing high quality HDPE PVC and plastic materials. The initiation of Gwalior Polypipes took place in 1982 and with the passage of time, it attained tremendous success and goodwill owing its excellent quality products. We are actively engaged in manufacturing and dealing of all kinds of pipes, tubes and their accessories made up of HDPE PVC and other plastic materials like PVC / HDPE Pipes, PVC Corrugated Pipes, HDPE Corrugated Pipes. We are an ISO-9001:2000 certified company.

History of Production Process

The first production unit of the company came into existence in 1984. It is dynamically engaged in manufacturing of Rigid PVC Pipes and fittings of all capacities and sizes from 63 mm to 450 mm nominal diameters conforming to International Standards Specifications. The production of the range is carried out on its most automated, microprocessor based extrusion lines imported from Battenfield Extrusion-Technic, Germany.

The second unit started its production in 1995 to manufacture high quality, world class PVC / HDPE Pipes and associated fittings in a wide range of sizes from 50 mm to 455 mm nominal diameters with state-of- the-art vaccum forming technology imported from Canada. The plant was set-up with a technology transfer deal from Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).The profile of corrugation is designed by Mag-Gill University, Canada to suit the Indian climatic and working conditions.

The company has also introduced PVC / HDPE Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) pipes with corrugated outer wall and inner smooth surface.

Management

The management of the company comprises of technocrats. The production is being done by staff trained in Canada. The company has extensively worked with government, semi-government, public sector organizations and multinational corporations providing them tailor made products as per their exact requirements.

Achievements

Gwalior Polypipes Limited has twice been awarded the coveted 'Second Best Exporter's Award' by Plex Council of India and has also been conferred with 'Udyog Rattan Award' for excellence in Productivity, Quality, Innovation and Management.
